Events Terms & Conditions
1. You understand that all information provided as part of the registration process is held by Ben-Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent Fund for the purpose of administering your participation.
2. Your personal information may also be used for the purposes of sending communications to you where you have confirmed that you would like to receive further information about the charity's work when registering for the event. 
3. All personal data held by us will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Ben-Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund privacy statement which can be found https://ben.org.uk/ben-policies/privacy-policy/
4. You take part in the event entirely at your own risk and Ben-Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent Fund shall not be liable for any injury or loss which you may suffer or incur as a result if your participation in the event, unless such injury or loss is incurred as a result of Ben-Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent negligence.
5. You must ensure all information provided to Ben-Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent Fund is complete, true and accurate including any medical information. If any of this information changes you must notify us immediately.
6. You commit to raising the agreed fundraising amount (excluding Gift Aid).
7. You agree to raise fundraising money legally and comply with the advice as shown in Ben-Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent Funds fundraising pack and keep safe and legal.
8. By fundraising for Ben-Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent Fund you agree to the following:
a. Submit all paper sponsorship forms and offline fundraising.
b. Not to reproduce the Ben-Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent  logo without first gaining permission
c. Not collect funds in a public place without first obtaining the appropriate collectors license from the local authority.
d. Not to carry out house to house collections to raise funds.
e. Not to do anything to bring Ben into disrepute
9. All monies raised need to be paid to Ben-Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent Fund within 4 weeks of the event completion or as outlined by the third party supplier (if applicable).
10. Photographs and videos may be taken/filmed throughout each Event by Ben-Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent Fund or its group companies and/or its contractors by relying on legitimate interest as a lawful basis for doing so. Ben-Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund may use your photographs and video to promote, report on and sell future events by means of film, print media, internet, publicity material, social media or any other media now or in the future and by registering you consenting that you are happy for Ben-Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent Fund to use your name, any photographs or footage taken of you during your participation in the event, unless you state otherwise by writing to challengeevents@ben.org.uk
11. By posting any content (e.g. photos and videos) in relation to the event on social media forums you give Ben-Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent Fund a non-exclusive transferable, royalty-free right to use and reproduce that content and you, on behalf of yourself and any copyright owner, waive your and their moral rights in that content in favour of Ben-Motor & Allied Trades Benevolent Fund.
