We all love Ballycotton - whether you’re lucky enough to call Ballycotton home, a Ballycottoner living away from home, a frequent visitor, or someone with fond memories of a one-off trip to our beautiful village. It’s fair to say Ballycotton is a special place that deserves to be treated as such!

We’re lucky in Ballycotton to have an army of volunteers that can be seen out on the streets of the village every week, tending to our floral displays and wildflower areas, painting, maintaining visitor facilities and picking litter from the pier and to the beautiful cliff walk. This is all driven by a pride in place and passion for keeping our village beautiful for visitors and residents alike.

The great work done by our volunteers not only demands them generously contributing their time to their work, but it also demands funding and that’s where we need your help! Your support will mean that our work can continue, funding equipment, materials and other vital items for our work in the future.

Our 2021 Virtual Run will be a great opportunity for you to play your part in keeping our village green, clean and beautiful!

What is a virtual run?

A virtual run can be done in your own time, at your own pace and from any location in the world. You can run, jog, walk, on or off road, a treadmill at the gym or even at another race or park run.

The beauty of a virtual run is that it is on your terms, all you have to do is enter your details race, raise funds for our village and that’s it! You also have the option to show off your connection to Ballycotton by wearing our race T-Shirt with pride – it’s available as an optional purchase as part of your entry.
