The current broad definition of domestic violence can blur the nature and impact of gendered violence experienced by women and their children whose current or former partners use the intitmate relationship to further exercise their power and control.  Through a combination of expertise, keynote speakers and collaborative discussion we aim to examine the impact of Intimate Partner Violence and explore best practice in supporting and empowering women and their children.
