High levels of anxiety is a common difficulty for people with autism spectrum conditions. Research suggests that as many of 80% of people on the autism spectrum could be classed as having an anxiety disorder.

This session provides parents and carers with an understand of what anxiety is, what causes anxiety, how this may impact people differently, the factors that cause high levels of anxiety in people with autism and what they can do to help.

  • Autism and anxiety
  • High levels of anxiety and behaviours of concern
  • Putting a plan in place
