Akhuwat UK Trust proudly presents the Akhuwat Annual Fundraiser, Birmingham 2024 an evening dedicated to community, compassion, and inspiration. Join us as we come together to celebrate the spirit of Akhuwat and its impactful initiatives.
Founded on the Holy Prophet’s sunnah of Mawakhat (brotherhood), Akhuwat has been transforming lives since 2001. Our mission is to alleviate poverty by providing interest-free microloans, education, clothing, and healthcare to those in need. With a vast network of over 800 branches in 400+ cities, supported by 8,000+ village volunteers and employees, we've distributed over $1 billion (PKR 300+ billion) to 7.2 million beneficiaries.
Akhuwat's groundbreaking work has been recognized globally, including a case study at Harvard Kennedy School. We are also proud to have launched Pakistan’s first fee-free residential university in Kasur, empowering future leaders through education.

We are honoured to host Dr. Amjad Saqib, the visionary founder of Akhuwat. A social entrepreneur, development practitioner, former civil servant, and author, Dr. Saqib has dedicated his life to serving others. His efforts have earned him numerous accolades, including:
