Father Christmas is looking for young explorers (perfect for children 4-8 years) to take on the virtual 10km during December, through the snowy forest to his enchanting grotto – he can’t wait to see them!

Father Christmas wants the young explorers to walk 2km (1.2 miles) each day for 5 days during December.

Add your child's name to the registration form and they will appear throughout the story – as if by magic!

Along their way up the mountain, elves will meet your child at each checkpoint in the email tale and will help them with the next part of their challenge.

You can log their miles on the fundraising page each day and watch their progress on the Lapland virtual map.

If you are a big kid at heart and want to take on the challenge yourself - you are most welcome to do so. Simply pop your own name in the 'Child's Name' box on the registration form!

More than 5,100 emergency food parcels were provided on average to people across the UK every day, by food banks in the Trussell Trust network in the past six months. Almost 2,000 of these were provided for children.

It's not always easy to find the time to step outside and get moving, but this festive season, head out outdoors with family, be active and raise money to help end the need for food banks in the UK.

* It may take up to 3 working days for the donation to show on your page.

PLEASE NOTE: We're unable to forward funds onto individual food banks. All funds raised here go direct to the Trussell Trust.
