Along their way up the mountain, elves will meet your child at each checkpoint in the email tale and will help them with the next part of their challenge.

The stories are based on what the child sees at each checkpoint, the tasks that they have to complete for Father Christmas and the elf that they meet there. Each elf wears a badge. These represent Compassion, Justice, Community and Dignity – the values of the Trussell Trust. There is lots of fun and laughter to be had along the way as children learn about these values before meeting Father Christmas.

If you are a big kid at heart and want to take on the challenge yourself - you are most welcome to do so. Simply pop your own name in the 'Child's Name' box on the registration form!

We are so grateful for your support. The soaring cost of living means more and more people are being left with no option but to use a food bank.

1.3m emergency food parcels were provided to people between April and September this year by food banks in the Trussell Trust network and almost half a million of these went to children. That’s a third more than were provided during the same period in 2021 and an increase of more than 50% compared to pre-pandemic levels.

By taking part in the Adventure to Lapland, you’ll be helping food banks keep going this winter and provide vital support to families that are at crisis point.

* If you opt for the optional registration fee, we will send you a gift for the child to open at the end of their challenge.

PLEASE NOTE: We're unable to forward funds onto individual food banks. All funds raised here go direct to the Trussell Trust.
