Join AWARE NI on Sunday 13 September 2026 at Benone Strand and take part in our annual Sea Splash, marking World Suicide Prevention Day.
This isn’t just a dip - it’s a chance to take action for mental health at a time when support has never been more needed.
Across Northern Ireland, people are facing waitlists of up to 18 months for mental health support. For someone in crisis, that’s too long to wait. AWARE NI provides free, immediate support - a lifeline when people need it most.
By signing up and stepping into the sea, you’re helping ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.
Whether you’re a seasoned swimmer or more of a toe dipper, this is your chance to take on a challenge and make a real difference. Every splash helps us continue supporting those living with depression, anxiety and bipolar.
Once registered, you’ll receive an information pack along with everything you need to get started with your fundraising.

- All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable
- Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult

When completing your registration, you’ll have the option to cover a £2.30 transaction fee. Choosing to do so helps us reduce costs, meaning more funds go directly towards providing vital, life-changing mental health support.
