56 Miles | 1 Month | 1 Mission

Why 56? Because every year around 56,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer, will you join our mission? 

Do it on your own, or as part of a team, or even challenge your friends and family to join. It doesn’t matter whether you’re an experienced runner, want to get a bit fitter, or just fancy the challenge – all that matters is doing your part for breast cancer awareness.

WHO IS THE CHALLENGE FOR? - I BWY MAE'R HER HON? 

Everyone! You don't need to be an experienced runner to do this challenge. Whether you’re a casual walker, or just starting your fitness journey this challenge allows you to take it at your own pace and build up the miles as you go! 

56 miles in the month is the equivalent to 14 miles per week or 2 miles per day.

So you can either take the challenge at your own pace, with small distances each day – or you can challenge yourself and tackle long distances at a time.

You also decided on the best way to clock up the miles, so whether that’s through walking, running, cycling, swimming, jumping, skipping or even crawling you can choose what is right for you!

As a thank you for your support- we’ll send you one of our Team Tenovus t-shirts once you've hit your fundraising target.

All we ask in return is that you raise *at least* £55 in fundraising, to support all those affected by cancer and support us in giving help, hope and a voice to everyone affected by cancer.

£55 could allow our expert cancer nurses to provide support and guidance, to four people going through cancer treatment though our Call Back service.
