Run, jog or walk 30 miles in aid of the WINTER EMERGENCY Appeal

For our 3rd consecutive year, the 30 miles in 30 days virtual challenge is your perfect opportunity to start 2023 by getting fit and active in aid of supporting needy families around the world this winter!

You can get your family and friends involved to walk, run or jog together. The amazing thing is that by connecting your Strava App to your fundraising page, there will be a LIVE LEADERBOARD of miles each day throughout January 2023 so you can see how others are getting on and this will motivate and push you to go further!

30 miles in 30 days is just 1 mile a day.

You can do that as part of your daily exercise, walking at home, or even running in your garden or balcony. It sounds crazy because it is… we want as many people to jump on this challenge to stay fit while helping the global family during these testing times.

Fundraising Target: £150 &
Registration Fee: £5.00

Raising £150 will enable us to provide 10 winter blankets to needy refugee families in Lebanon or it can provide 3 Food Packs (containing a month’s supply of food) for 3 needy families struggling this winter… Subhanallah!

If you complete the challenge by hitting the distance of 30 miles in 30 days and a Fundraising Target of £150, then you will be awarded with a "TEAMMC FINISHER" medal. Participants will also get a Muslim Charity TEAMMC T-Shirt.

It’s simple, walk or run as much as you can while raising funds for our Winter Emergency Appeal. Go the distance with this challenge and aim for 30 miles!

Winter Emergency Appeal

For many of us, winter is marked by gentle snowfall, roaring fires, fluffy blankets and warm clothes. Temperatures fall and roads become icy and wet, but we know that in our homes we are safe, warm and protected. However, for countless people around the world, winter is a battle for survival.

In the past few years, the coronavirus pandemic has made winter even more difficult around the world. Without adequate protection and food to remain healthy, people are at more risk than ever.

Muslim Charity will be delivering vital winter items to help protect vulnerable communities against the brutal winter. With your support, we will be distributing warm clothing, shawls, socks, hats, blankets, mattresses, jackets, food, heaters and fuel.
