2023 Turas Spooky Trail
Sunday, 29 October 2023, 13:00
Turas is excited to announce our 3rd annual Spooky Trail event!
Join us for some outdoor spooky Halloween fun for all the family in St. Helena’s Park on Sunday, 29th October. This Spooktacular soirée is organised by Turas and our scarily creative team of volunteers!
The tricks and treats get underway from 1pm – 3pm and will take place on a park trail, with a ghostly stroll through several spooky zones. Children will join in Halloween games and fun as they make their way around.
Beware of the ghosts, ghouls and goblins along the way! All those taking part will find themselves transported to a haunted realm with a host of creepy characters to encounter.
There will be Halloween games, music, dancing, storytelling, a costume competition, fang-tastic treats, a very special performance from Funky Feet dance school and much, much more!
Along with the spiritual traditions of All Hallows’ Eve, this season is also a time of harvest and community. A 'gratitude tree' will be located in the park to give both children and adults an opportunity to count their blessings, while also learning a little about the work of Turas as a community organisation supporting people with addiction.
Registration costs €20 per family + booking fee (all proceeds to Turas).
Turas is a not-for-profit addiction service based in Dundalk. We support 350+ people from across the North-East each year, who are concerned about their alcohol, drug or gambling use. We help them find their path to recovery by offering free services, like counselling, community-based detox, medical support, outdoor/creative therapies, weekly support groups and a 15-week Transformational Recovery Programme.
By supporting this event, you are helping to empower people in addiction to make positive, lasting changes in their own lives, as well as for their families and communities.Thank you.
Sincere thanks to our Spooky Trail sponsors: Dundalk Credit Union - Dash - Intact - Louth County Council - WuXi Biologics - Balloon Boutique - Corderry Fruit Farm - Blooms Flowers - O'Connor Martin & Co. - Brodericks - More TBA!
