The Taster Days are held on a Monday or Thursday and start at 9.00am

  • You will attend the admissions meeting to see how we prioritise our referrals and admissions.
  • You will then shadow a consultant ward round on the inpatient unit.
  • You will go out with a Community Palliative Care CNS on a home visit.
  • You will spend time with the Hospice at Home and Pall24 services and The Woodgrange Centre learning about the services that they provide and how their departments work.

The day usually finishes at approximately 4.30pm.
