Why May is special:
Each May, the We Get It crew laces up to walk, run, or cycle 100K to raise awareness and funds. Participants aim to raise £100, or £1 for every km, (or donate if sponsorship isn’t possible). Every penny helps us welcome more people affected by cancer and gives them strength, understanding, and connection.
Who we are:
We Get It is a charity ensuring no one faces cancer alone. We provide support and resources for anyone affected by cancer—any age, any type, any gender.
Your impact:
Cancer doesn’t stop at the hospital door. We Get It offers non-medical support and a community for people who’ve been there—through Friday Get Togethers, Curry Club, Stage 4 Group, and signature events like Strength in Style. Every step you take helps build vital connections and empowers people to live well with and beyond cancer.
Our community impact:
Since May 2020, we’ve brought people together through events, workshops, and honest conversations about cancer. 100% of our community members report improved mental, physical, social, and emotional health thanks to our support. Your donations help us reach more people and make dealing with cancer a little easier. 💪💖
Ready to make a change? Sign up, show up, and let’s make May 2026 unforgettable! 💪
