Important notice - Online entries have now closed for Wakfefield Walkies however sign ups are available on the day for £10 per dog and £2 per show. Registration for the walk can be found next the the main Newmillerdam Car Park (next to La Fortezza) and the dog show/agility course registration is at The Pledwick well Inn, the finish area for the walk. The walk starts at 11am so please arrive early to ensure time to sign in. Parking is available at The Pledwick Well Inn. 

Back for it's third year, we are excited to announce that Wakefield Walkies is heading to Newmillerdam Country Park, finishing at The Pledwick Inn on Sunday 6th October. 

The “hospice hound parade” will set off at 11:00am, with the full event finishing at 15:30.  

After the walk at The Pledwick Inn you are invited to stay around to join in with more activities including:- dog show & prizes, judges, have-a-go agility sessions, food & drink, music, stalls & demonstration stands.

All walkers will receive a free doggy goody bag and finishers gift on the day, including a branded bandana!

ANYONE is welcome to join us for this year’s walk - whether you are a pet owner or not. But if you are bringing a playful pooch, then please keep them on a lead at all times and don't forget the waste bags!

Every penny raised will continue to provide care for our patients and families. When you book onto Wakefield Walkies you will be automatically given a fundraising page, we are asking you and your canine companions to raise a minimum of £20 sponsorship.
