Help to honour those who died in The Falklands War in 1982 and help to support The Veterans Charity.

We are 'yomping' again from Instow Beach to RMB Chivenor to honour those who served in the South Atlantic between April and June 1982, especially the 255 UK service personnel who gave their lives during the conflict.

The 2025 event is taking place on the 43rd anniversary of the end of The Falklands War!

The route begins on the beautiful Instow Beach and from there, follows the 'Tarka Trail' (South West Coast Path) through Yelland, Fremington, Bickington, Barnstaple, Heanton and finishes at the striking memorial at RMB Chivenor.

Fundraising:

The Veterans Charity delivers urgent support to hundreds of Veterans every year who find themselves battling dire hardship. Funds raised through our events enable us to continue meeting the rising demand for our support and to ensure we are there when needed.

We are asking participants of The Falklands Challenge to raise sponsorship as part of their participation in the event. The fundraising target is £75 and everyone who exceeds their target will receive a FREE VC t-shirt and Falklands Commeorative Pin, as a thank you from us!

You will also be included in a special anniversary ceremony that we plan to host at RMB Chivenor Memorial at the finish of the event, to honour those who didn't return in 1982.
