🚌 Twilight Bus - New for 2025

Want to join Twilight Walk but can’t manage the route? We’ve got you covered!

We believe everyone should be part of the magic, that’s why we’re thrilled to offer the Twilight Bus.

Hop aboard from St George’s School and enjoy the glow of the evening as the bus takes you on a scenic ride through Gravesend. You’ll stop at the Gurdwara, cruise past the twinkling sights of the route and visit the hospice before heading back to St George’s School, all from the comfort of your seat.

Please Note : The bus isn't able come into the school grounds due to Meadow Road being so narrow, it will be meeting walkers at the end of Meadow Road on New House Lane which is about 250 yards from the start line. We can offer a shuttle to anyone that can't walk the distance from the start line to the bus, however if you are able to walk the short distance you will start the walk with everyone else then hop on the bus once you get to the end of Meadow Road.

Important details:

• Seats are limited and reserved for those unable to walk the route.
• The bus isn't able to access the school grounds due to it's size so walkers will need to walk approx 250 yards from the start line to the end of Meadow Road. A shuttle service will be available to those who can't walk that far but you must notify us in advance if you require this so we can ensure we have enough space available.
• One carer may travel free of charge. Please note: they may be required to stand if seats are needed for those who’ve booked.
• To book a child accessible place, please call us on 01474 320 007. Please note: child places are also limited to one carer.
• Bus riders will receive a T-shirt and medal.
• This is your chance to be part of something special, no step count required!

💰 Sponsorship: When you sign up to Twilight Walk, each adult that is registered will automatically have a fundraising page created for them. There is no minimum sponsorship for this event — all we ask is that you raise as much as you can to help us support patients and their families facing life-limiting illnesses.

👕 T-shirts: If you joined us in 2024, please keep your T-shirt to reuse again if you can! This saves us around £2,000 on the cost of buying so many T-shirts. If this is your first time, or you need a new T-shirt, you'll be able to collect yours from one of our T-shirt collection dates or on the night. T-shirt collection dates will be announced nearer to the event.

 Please Note: When booking your tickets, you will only be able to purchase child tickets with an adult ticket or family ticket (selecting an adult / family ticket will give you the option to add child tickets). Child tickets are not available for the Twilight Bus. If you need to add any additional children once your booking is complete, please call us on 01474 320 007.

When registering for multiple people, you will need to enter an email address for each adult participant you are booking for. If you enter the same email address for all participants during the registration process, you may receive multiple emails with the same information. Unfortunately, there is no way to turn this off, so we recommend that you enter a unique email address for each participant if possible.
