Sole Mates - The Martin House Virtual Running Club

Be a part of Sole Mates, the Martin House running club committed to building a community and raising vital funds to allow the great work we do at Martin House to continue.

Sole Mate’s aim is to connect our runners, past, present and future as well as our supporters who fancy a challenge!

Over the last few months, we have had to contact all our runners with the devastating news that all organised runs have been cancelled or postponed (along with cancelling almost all of our other events). Not only is this a massive loss of income for Martin House but is extremely disappointing for all our supporters who have been training so hard to take on what could be their biggest challenge to raise money for Martin House.

Sole Mates is a virtual running club that brings everyone together to support each other in their own individual runs and it’s completely free to join the club. The best part of Sole Mates is that you choose your own challenge.

To hit the ground running with Sole Mates we will be holding a month long event throughout September. Simply sign up, set your personal challenge, and pledge to raise money for Martin House along the way.

You can take on the challenge alone or you can enlist your friends and aim to run an agreed amount of miles between you.

You can also kick start your fundraising by donating £10.00 and receive your Martin House T-shirt!

By signing up to Sole Mates, you are helping Martin House provide families with much needed help and support. The money you raise help us achieve incredible things. Last year we supported 428 children and young people. We provided 3,197 nights of care for them along with 2,285 overnight stays for our incredible parents. 

Last year it cost £7.6 million to run Martin House and £5.1 million was rasied through fundraising and our retail outlets. This year, that number will look drastically different, but with your help, we can change that!
