Will you Run4Pieta?

Last year, Pieta's 24-Hour Crisis Helpline received almost 100,000 calls and texts and provided over 48,000 hours of FREE counselling.

Run4Pieta is a 24hr / 48hr run or walk challenge open to all clubs, schools and organisations.

Choose any weekend between 10th September (World Suicide Prevention Day) and 10th October (World Mental Health Day) and collectively walk/run with your club for 24 or 48 hours to raise vital funds for Pieta.

Run4Pieta will help to generate much needed funds for people impacted by suicide and self-harm. It will also create awareness of the services Pieta offer and encourage everyone in our communities to look after their mental health and open up if they need support.

How to get involved:

  • Register your club or school and receive your very own fundraising page for your club
  • Share your fundraising link far and wide using e-mail, social media platforms and WhatsApp and ask people to donate to Run4Pieta
  • Once you've signed up, ask your player, supporters and friends/family of players around the world to get involved. Allocate every participant a time slot during the 24hr/48hr period. The Pieta team will send you some helpful documents to support your fundraiser including a social media guide and a schedule sheet to help you organise your Run4Pieta event.
  • Run or walk for 24hrs/48hrs consecutively over any weekend between 10th Sep and 10th Oct.
  • Post photos on social media and use #Run4Pieta2022

So, please get involved with your club or school and join the communities across Ireland to Run4Pieta.
