Proceeds from the Mud Trial will help the EY Foundation to support young people from Free School Meal backgrounds by providing paid employability skills training and work experience, mentoring and alumni activities throughout 2026 and beyond.​​

The event is a high adrenaline 90 minutes spanning 5k, jam-packed with challenging obstacles and, of course, lots of mud. The layout of the event is slightly different this year, with groups each taking off with Nuclear Races staff to motivate you at each obstacle!

It is taking place on Thursday 2nd July in Essex (nuclear-races.co.uk) and will be an action-packed day, raising money for our young people who face significant barriers to employment.

If you wish to create a team to fundraise with, please ensure you select 'create a team' when registering. If you wish to join a team, look for the 'create or join a team' on the registration page and enter the team name you wish to fundraise with. Note that teams over 6 will not be entered into the event day competitions.

Details for limited coach transfers from the 1MLP London office will be advertised to all who are part of a fundraising team or have created a fundraising page by the end of March 2026.
