Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the most impressive sights in Africa and climbing it is one of the all-time great achievements. It’s the largest freestanding mountain in the world and the trek encompasses terrains from jungle to glacier. Reaching the summit and watching the sun rise over the vast African plains truly is the experience of a lifetime.

The trip is a minimum 10 day adventure (including a 6 day trek on the Machame route) which you can extend at your leisure with optional travel time after the climb. Our climbs are split into groups of approx 20 Dig Deep fundraisers and each group will start climbing on one of the following days (subject to availability):

18th August 2024
21st August 2024
25th August 2024

Our fundraisers are undertaking this mammoth challenge to raise money to support Dig Deep (digdeep.org.uk).

Dig Deep believe every resident in Kenya has a fundamental right to access clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene.

Dig Deep work in Bomet County, Kenya, home to 1 million people and one of the most underserved and least resourced areas of the country. Here, 2 out of 3 people don't have clean water, over half don’t have safe toilets and children don’t have access to basic hygiene education.

Through helping children and their families to realise their right to clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene, your support will save lives, improve education, empower women and girls and strengthen livelihoods.
