What is the Challenge?

A fun, twilight into the night, team-based orienteering walk, solving questions en-route, as you trek between checkpoints

Two routes to choose from: a short route of around 8 miles, with a long route of around 15 miles

Enter as a team; minimum of 3, maximum 8 in your team

Prizes - for most sponsorship raised and most questions answered sucessfully

Free refreshments fuelling you along the way!

Cost per person - £25 (aged 18 or over); £5 (aged under 18 on date of event) 

All we ask is that each team member raises at least £25 in sponsorship, all of which will go to charitable causes … and enjoy the Challenge!  

How long has the Moonraker Challenge been going?

This year, 2025, is the 40^th Anniversary!

The event has raised an incredible Half a Million Pounds for charities and good casues over this time!

Why accept the Challenge?

It’s great fun, exercise for both brain and body and a really terrific way to raise money for charities!

Many teams return year-after-year, enjoying testing their skills at navigating new routes and answering challenging questions - especially as it’s dark!

Everybody is a winner! At the finish you’ll be greeted with cheers, food and drink, and of course your Completers Medal
