Every step you take and every pound you raise supports the UK’s longest and loudest campaign for cancer patients facing deadly treatment delays.

#CatchUpWithCancer was co-founded in 2020 and has never stopped speaking out since.

What’s the challenge?

Miles4Radiotherapy is a two-month virtual summer challenge welcoming everyone to make the miles matter and be part of the wide and wonderful radiotherapy community. In previous years we have welcomed patients and their families, the radiotherapy workforce and industry to the challenge.

You choose how you move and set your own goals for how many miles you hope to achieve. This year we are also inviting you to join the Radiotherapy UK team in-person at Rishworth (3mile and 10mile) for the chance to make our miles matter together. Funds raised will support our crucial #CatchUpWithCancer campaign and the work of Radiotherapy UK.

Sadly, 4 in 10 patients are still waiting too long for treatment, with every four-week delay leading to a 10% increase in death for some cancers. The campaign is more needed than ever, as cancer cases are set to grow by a third by 2040.

We know it doesn’t have to be this way. Investment in solutions like radiotherapy can improve outcomes, cut waits and save lives. So thank you for joining us for this bright and bold summer challenge as we push decision makers to catch up with cancer and save lives.

Radiotherapy UK is a registered charity and registered with the Fundraising Regulator. We receive NO government funding and the future of our #CatchUpWithCancer campaign relies on public donations.

#Miles4Radiotherapy is sponsored by event partenrs AXREM, Leo Cancer Care and Radiaderm. Our media partner is Rad Chat.
