Join us on Saturday 14th March for our Men’s Walk To Support 2026! 

Our 8 mile walk is for those aged 8+ to join together in solidarity and raise vital funds for end-of-life care in our local community. Starting at Dorothy House in Winsley, and setting off from 11am, participants will set off on the route that follows along the canal and finishes at Bath Pavilion, in time to watch all 3 matches of the final day of the Six Nations. 

New for our 50th Anniversary, we're introducing a 25 mile route starting at The Bridge Inn, Horton Road, Devizes. Starting at 7am and following the Kennet and Avon Canal before joining up with the 8 mile group and finishing at Bath Pavilion too. This serious hike is not to be taken lightly, a proper challenge, and is open to those age 16+ and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Celebrate your epic achievement with a well-earned free pint and food in the Pavilion!  

Team up with your brother, your son, your dad, your best mates, or take on the walk solo – it’s up to you! The Men’s Walk To Support is a great chance to chat and share experiences with fellow participants while supporting our vital work at Dorothy House.  

Entry is £28.00 and all participants get a FREE event t-shirt. Every single penny raised helps us to be there for other patients and their families who need us. So, sign up today and start your fundraising to show your support for hospice care!

Online entry is now closed, but there are still places available. To take part in the 25-mile Devizes to Bath route, please come to The Bridge Inn, Horton Road, Devizes, SN10 2JS between 6:30am and 7am to get registered. To take part in the 8-mile Winsley to Bath route, please come to Dorothy House, Winsley, Bradford-on-Avon, BA15 2LE between 9:30am and 11am to get registered.

 

You can also create or join a team with the men you plan to take part with!

Setting Up a Men's Walk to Support Team

To set up a new team choose “Create” within the Registration Form

  • Choose the team name
  • Enter the e-mails for your fellow teammates (if you want to now)
    • Note – this e-mail will only be sent to your teammates if you now enter the event in this transaction yourself
  • Enter the event yourself.  Your team has now been created

If you’ve already set up a team and your members would like to join

  • They need to choose “Find” within the Registration Form
  • The person then needs to choose your team name and join it

Team fundraising

  • All teams have an overall team page.  This will display the team fundraising total and overall team target
  • Within that page will be each individual fundraising page
  • If people would like to sponsor your team they can do so here or they can choose an individual member of that team to sponsor

Our retail shops are running low on clean, undamaged, quality men's clothing, shoes and accessories. 
Whether you are planning on walking our 25 mile or 8 mile route, we will have Donation Bins at our registration tables when you arrive on Saturday 14 at the Hospice in Winsley, or at The Bridge Inn, Horton Road, Devizes.
