Make your miles matter for mental health
1 August 2025 - 30 September 2025
Make your miles matter this August, and challenge yourself to cover 100 miles in support of Open Door Charity! Whether you walk, run, cycle or swim, you can go the distance for mental health.
Open Door Charity exists to shape meaningful change in mental health by creating inclusive communities, joyful places and evidence-based programmes that empower people to be mentally well. By providing support without waiting lists or lengthy referrals, we remove barriers for young people who cannot afford private counselling and preventing symptoms from worsening.
Our innovative support programmes are built around shared experience and human connection, and often have powerful and life changing outcomes for members.
"It has changed my life and wellbeing completely. I rarely go into my extremely negative anxiety mode anymore, as I have developed useful skills throughout the Bazaar programme on how to cope with life stresses whether they are little or large. I am living life properly now with little fear or worry." - Bazaar member
Every week we provide our free, fast and effective mental health support to over 100 young people across Merseyside, at the point when they need us the most. Your kindness will allow us to be there for many more.
