The Heroes of the WIRE: Memorial Bike Ride will take place from 22–25 June 2026, with Warrington riders cycling more than 225 miles through Northern France and Belgium to honour the 11 Warrington Wolves players who lost their lives during the First World War.

Organised by the Warrington Wolves Community Foundation, the four-day ride retraces parts of the Western Front, visiting key memorials and ending at the Menin Gate in Ypres for the Last Post Ceremony.

Alongside remembrance, the event will raise vital funds to support the Foundation’s work across Warrington, including programmes focused on mental health, wellbeing, disability inclusion and community connection.
