Ectopic pregnancy is a common, sometimes life-threatening condition that affects around 1 in 80 pregnancies. Put simply, it means a pregnancy developing outside the womb.
The EPT is the leading charity dedicated to ectopic pregnancy, providing trusted information and peer support for anyone who has experienced the condition.
Our work is crucial. When someone is facing a suspected or confirmed ectopic pregnancy, they and those who love them often have many questions and worries. The EPT offers a safe place to turn for reliable information and compassionate support. People find comfort in knowing they are not alone, connecting with others who have been through similar experiences. Many healthcare professionals also signpost families to our services, ensuring we can be there in the days, weeks, and months that follow.
