Caudwell Children’s iconic Colour Runner is returning in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council. The day will be bursting with excitement and colour all in support of changing the lives of disabled and autistic children.

Please note that any registrations recieved on or after 13:30 on 14/07/2025 will need to collect their Colour Runner pack at registration on the day of the event. Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time to collect your pack.

Terms and Conditions

• On registration participants confirm that they are sufficiently fit and able to take part.  If you have any doubts, please refer to your GP before registering. 
•  All children aged 14 or under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• The organizers reserve the right to prohibit individuals from taking part. 
• Participants must follow the instructions of the organisers, volunteer marshals or their appointed agents at all times, this includes event signage, symbols and maps. 
• Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or any other substances.
• Every participant shall be provided with an event bib number, which should be worn during the event. The event bib number identifies participants in an emergency or health and safety situation. 
• All participants must write their name and details of any health problems or medication on the reverse of the event number, which must be worn during the run.
• Participants must wear the Colour Runner t-shirt provided to them throughout the duration of the event. 
• Caudwell Children suggests that participants take steps to protect their eyes from the powder and wear goggles or sunglasses during the event. Caudwell Children do not accept liability for any loss or damage to individuals clothing or equipment. 
• On registering for the event you agree to do so at your own risk. Caudwell Children does not accept liability for any injury to person as a result of participation in this event (except where Caudwell Children is legally liable or is negligent).
• Participants are encouraged to wear fancy dress during the event. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure fancy dress is suitable and safe for participation. 
• Baby joggers, baby strollers and wheelchairs are permitted on the course. Participants must begin the event during the official recognized starting times and in the interest of safety should start from the back of the group, participants should take steps to ensure the powder paint doesn't damage or stain equipment. 
• Dogs are not permitted on the course.  
• Participants must wear appropriate footwear for the event. 
• Participants agree to the Terms and Conditions of the venue in addition to those of the event. 
• Fundraising from this event will not be restricted to a particular child or function.
• Valuables and personal property brought to the event is at your own risk, Caudwell Children accepts no responsibility for loss or damage. 
Cancellation Policy
• Event officials reserve the right to delay, cancel, alter the route or suspend the event due to inclement weather in accordance with Emergency Protocol on severe emergencies and/or inclement weather. No refund will be issued in these circumstances.
• Entries and non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Caudwell Children reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the format of the Colour Runner event where this becomes necessary due to circumstances beyond our control.
• Caudwell Children will take reasonable care to ensure that the event is conducted in a safe manner. Liability cannot be accepted for any damage, injury or loss arising from the negligence of participants (whether through failure to observe the rules of the event or otherwise).
• Wet weather will not cause the event to be cancelled unless deemed necessary for by the organisers for safety of all.

In order to run in the Caudwell Children Colour Runner, runners must agree the following disclaimer:
"In completing this entry, I declare that I, or anyone for whom I am acting as parent/guardian for, will not compete in the event unless medically fit to do so and that, in any event, we will compete at my/our own risk. I accept that the organisers will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, costs or expenses which may arise in consequence of my/our participation of the event.
• I/We understand that entry fees are non-refundable. 
• Caudwell Children will be taking photos and filming at the Colour Runner event for promotional and marketing purposes. These images and videos may be used across our social media, website, and other printed and digital promotional materials. Due to the nature of the event, we cannot guarantee the exclusion of individuals in large crowd shots. By attending the Colour Runner event, you consent to having your image captured by our photographer and videographer.
