Walk, Run, or Cycle for a Hearty Cause!

Through the collaborative efforts of the different professionals in the Operating Theatre Department of St. James’s Hospital, and in partnership with the SJH Foundation, this year’s charity event is organized in remembrance of Chaela Gonda. In honor of her memory, proceeds from the event will be donated to Heart Children Ireland and the SJH Foundation.

Chaela Gonda is the loving daughter of two of our staff, Michael and Yvonne Gonda, who became God’s little angel a few years ago after experiencing a cardiac event. Every year, Michael and Yvonne, together with friends, organize a fun and active event to commemorate her life filled with love and happiness.

Heart Children Ireland and SJH Foundation

Heart Children Ireland has been very close to Chaela’s parents throughout the years and has always been a partner in every year’s event in remembrance of Chaela. This year, however, a new partnership has been formed with the SJH Foundation for the charity event to help more people in need.

Participate in our Charity Cause!

By donating to this charity cause, you will be instrumental in helping people with congenital heart disease and their families, and the various charitable initiative of the SJH Foundation. You will also enjoy a healthier summer as we urge everyone to participate by walking, running, or cycling this month of June. A culminating event will be organized on the 28^th of June at Corkagh Park for the whole family to enjoy!
