Take on the Brighton Marathon 2025 - a scenic marathon around one of Britain's most vibrant cities. 

On 6th April 2025 join tens of thousands of runners in one of Britain's biggest and best marathons and support Freedom from Torture's vital work with survivors of torture. We ask that runners in this race fundraise a minimum of £300.

Starting at Preston Park and finishing at Hove Lawns, the route takes you into Withdean before the turn back towards the city. Passing the Pavilion, you'll head up into Kemptown before following the coast to Ovingdean. Take a final turn back for a breath-taking view of the city, running along the promenade and into Hove before a fabulous finish at the beach village.

Thomas Munns ran for Freedom from Torture in 2023. To anyone thinking of running a marathon, he said: 

"I have enjoyed the experience immensely and it's been incredibly rewarding for so many different aspects of my life. The knowledge that it's all for an amazing cause makes it even better and easier to tackle any hurdles that inevitably arise along the way."
